Friends font with dots

Here in New York, I see so many people wearing Shirts with their names exactly like the Friends TV Show, and that looks so cool!! That gave me the idea to create the same font as the Friends TV show. Now, you have the Friends font with dots for free on your download page; Yay!

Some of my friends asked me; what is the font from friends called? Well, to save your precious time, you can use the font I created and I called it; Friends. 🙂 The font looks exactly like the one you see on the TV show; there is no difference. 🙂

Some ideas you can create with the Friends font could be mugs with a name; that one is very cool and popular. T-Shirt with your name or a funny quote from the Friend’s tv show. Pillow cover. I saw this in a New York shop, and it looks fun. Don’t limit yourself to the basic idea; go wild and have fun! There are so many ideas you can use with the font.

As a side note, you can type with your keyboard to create the dots and select the dots to change the colours. That will look exactly like the Friends TV Show but with your name!

The font is very simple to use. All you have to do is to double-click or tap on the TTF font file and then open the Cricut design space or your design application. The font will be there and ready to be used.

What are SVG files for Cricut?

Many people keep asking this question almost every day at work, so I thought it would be helpful to explain it here.

To make it clear and simple, on Cricut, you can upload the most popular image file. JPEG (JPG), PNG or SVG.

When you upload a JPEG or a PNG image, the image size is fixed on your Cricut canvas. That means you can not resize it bigger, or it will become pixelated. For professional Cricut users, this is where the SVG image format becomes useful.

Uploading an SVG image file will allow you to resize it. But not only that, if the designer did the job well, the SVG file will be layered, which means you can remove some parts of the design and add other elements. And layers even allow it to change its colours. So, when you see a beautiful design on youtube or online, chances are the Cricut crafter used a good SVG file with layers. 

Now, you know the difference between JPEG or PNG files and SVG files.

Instruction
